Early Evening Glowing Globemallows

The globemallows are still open for any late afternoon bees that might want to stop by and drag a little pollen back to the hive.

Reving Red

Reving Red

Went to the First Annual Star of the Desert Classic Car show last Saturday. The first time I’ve been to a car show. Quite the challenge to shoot a lot of shiny chrome and paint in the desert sun.

Southwestern Pots

Southwestern Pots

I’ve loved these kinds of pots since the first time I saw them. I photograph them whenever I can. These were on a porch in late afternoon. The light creating the pattern of lines and light. Snap.

Across the Plains

Across the Plains

I took a road trip to Denver last week. I drove, 14 hours from Tucson to Denver. I drove straight through. No Radio, No Music, No books on tape. Just the great expanse of our country to see and capture in memory and on memory.

Bee In The Moment

Bee In The Moment

It was just 20 minutes before the sun was to set. Most were back at the hive after along day. But this one was still out gathering those last bits of pollen in the waning light of day.

Bunch of Bluebells Blooming

Bunch of Bluebells Blooming

They look like they are ringing in the wind these days. But I’m guessing the sound is out of the range of human hearing. I’m glad we can see them.
