Yesterday was Road Trip day. We headed out of Tucson on I-10 East to State Route 83 South to Sonoita, Patagonia, Lake Patagonia, back to Sonoita, Elgin, Sonoita Winery, back to Sonoita, Empire Ranch and back to Tucson.
When I lived in Ohio and Iowa a spring ritual involved hunting mushrooms. Even in the desert when I come upon a group of cacti clustered like this it reminds me of those days in the woods in search of the prize morels.
