Turn it over, point it upward, shoot blind, through a filter, or maybe not. Serendipitous composition? Most assuredly. Punctuation? No, perspective.

There’s a lot of old stuff in the Southwest. Here in the desert wire can stick around for a couple hundred years. I know there are some people that collect barb wire. They know who made it, where it came from, what year it was made, etc. So if there is anyone out there who is a wire collector and can shed some light on this wire, please feel free to comment.

On the way back to Tucson we stopped in Sonoita. Behind one of the gas stations (that no longer sells gas) was this tired old soul.

He longed for the open road, but like the station it was out of gas, and out of go.
