Hannagan's Meadow
Hannagan’s Meadow is on Arizona Route 191. You can get to it from Eagan or from Clifton. Coming from Clifton you go past the large copper mine at the edge of town. There is a pull ou there where you can see the mine. Stop and take a look. The road winds for miles up into the mountains. It is a fascinating trip up to the meadow. Keep your eyes sharp you can see a lot of wildflife and wildflowers on this trip depending on the time of year.
Thanks for the views of old rt 666. I had lived and worked in Clifton 50 years ago and am glad it has not changed for the worst. Great place to visit,work, fish,and find old friends. See you at the class reunion of 50 years…1961 Clifton HS
