The Cookie Cabin
Located in Summerhaven on top of Mt. Lemmon the cookie cabin is a favorite stop for hikers and picnicers to get a slice of pizza or a plate size cookie for their sweet tooth.
Taken on Wednesday afternoon July 22, 2009 with the Monsoon in full swing. A new sidewalk is being built to the cabin. Workers were throwing brick pavers from pallets to where they were being place in the walk. You can see it is a popular spot on a summer’s day.
It is called by Arizona Highways as “The Best Sweet Treat at 9000 Feet”.
