Red under the hood

Went to the First Annual Star of the Desert Classic Car show last Saturday.  The first time I’ve been to a car show.  Quite the challenge to shoot a lot of shiny chrome and paint in the desert sun.

Lines, Pots, Metal, Shadows

I’ve loved these kinds of pots since the first time I saw them.  I photograph them whenever I can.  These were on a porch in late afternoon.  The light creating the pattern of lines and light.  Snap.

Northern New Mexico

I took a road trip to Denver last week. I drove, 14 hours from Tucson to Denver. I drove straight through. No Radio, No Music, No books on tape. Just the great expanse of our country to see and capture in memory and on memory.

Last Pollen of the Day

It was just 20 minutes before the sun was to set. Most were back at the hive after along day. But this one was still out gathering those last bits of pollen in the waning light of day.
