The Ducks Swim - Smart Ducks

This dock, bridge, whatever you might want to call it needs repair, but I can tell from being there it will take some time for such a repair/replacement to take place.  The expense of the iron railing fence to keep people off is probably more than it would have taken to replace it.

I remember when the Boy Scouts would have been called in to make this a weekend project.  Yes, That was a long time ago.  Now it will take an act of congress and thousands of dollars to do what one Boy Scout Troop could do in a weekend.

A Park in Tucson with Water

A park with water in it in Tucson; a reason to Caliente.

This body of water is feed from a spring.  There are fish in the shallows which proves it is spring feed.  In the 100 degree heat of summer if this wasn’t spring water it would be dead fish pond instead of a park.

Duck

As a general rule I don’t take ducks.  I don’t shoot ducks, I don’t sit where there are ducks, I don’t step where ducks have been.

That’s the general rule, today I made an exception.  I was shooting a palm tree cut down and made into a chair.  The duck was there.  It let me shoot and walk all around.  I finally got down near the ground.  He didn’t care, not even a stare.  So I shot the duck.
