The last in this series of photos from Tohono Chul Park. An orange wall with lattice work for climbing vines. One thing, you sure can come away from the park with a lot of accent ideas for your own back yard landscaping.

Not Quite Open for Business

In another day this cactus bloom will open up all the way and the bees will go so deep inside you can’t even see them. It is never wise to get your nose too close to a cactus in bloom. If the thorns don’t get you a bee up your nose surely will.

The harvest was bountiful this fall.  It was made possible by the amazing spring blooms.
